Playability

There are many factors that affect the playability of a guitar and a lot of these factors we have become accustom to from manufacturers today. They often have high action, too much or too little neck relief, unlevel frets, badly dressed/loose fret ends, not enough neck angle (making it difficult to adjust the action) and nut string height too high. Any number of these problems take away from the playability/feel of the guitar. A guitar with poor playability/feel will never bring out the best in a guitarist.

Here at Murphy Guitars all guitars are set-up for the the maximum playability for each individual players needs and  each guitar is perfectly in tune to play all the way up the frets without buzzing. Being a custom service, you can choose your neck preference, whether you prefer a thin narrow neck or a wide chunkier neck, it's up to you!

All my guitar necks are also satin finished as standard, so your hand doesn't get sticky on the back of the neck. It makes playing very fluid and free.  A gloss neck can also be applied (No up-charge) if that is your preference, That is the beauty of a custom build!
